As a key member of our Disability Solutions team, the Audio Visual Systems Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring seamless event execution. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and excellent communication skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of audio visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment. A strong understanding of basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues is essential. Additionally, proficiency in utilizing floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue is required. Technical Level 3 Certification per Encore Technical Skillset Matrix within 180 days is mandatory for this position.
The work environment is dynamic, with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The Audio Visual Systems Specialist will use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components, and may be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
