I'm recruiting for a VP Program Management / Head of Program Management for a young and growing biotech in the Bay Area. Ideally looking for a candidate with experience moving programs from IND enabling through to phII / phIII across multiple therapeutic areas. This role will interact cross functionally with the internal and external stakeholders and will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills. You will be a key part of the leadership team and have an opportunity to grow out the PMO function.
Qualifications :
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MBA preferred) in life sciences, business, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in biotech / pharmaceutical program management, with a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams in rare disease drug development.
- Deep understanding of drug development processes, including preclinical, clinical, regulatory, and commercial pathways.
- Proven ability to lead and influence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong financial acumen, project management expertise, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
