Role Summary:
The Training Coordinator oversees the onboarding and training of new technicians, monitors staff training compliance, and supports technician competency. This role ensures employees are properly enrolled in training platforms and track progress during onboarding and throughout employment. Additionally, the position handles clinical documentation audits and follow-up training as needed. On-site work at our Southern Pines clinic is required.
Schedule/Setting:
Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week, Onsite in Southern Pines Clinic
Reports To:
Director of Training and Development
Pay:
$45,000 - $55,000 per year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Onboard new employees and ensure timely training enrollment.
- Communicate clearly with employees during onboarding and training.
- Assign and track annual compliance training for all staff.
- Monitor CPR and certification renewals, sending reminders as needed.
- Conduct quality assurance audits for technicians.
- Support staff with additional training needs as directed by supervising analysts.
- Track training hours in billing systems (e.g., Central Reach).
- Stay informed about RBT certification requirements to guide trainees.
- Maintain professional boundaries with staff and represent Discovery ABA positively.
- Participate in meetings and ongoing training sessions.
Skills & Requirements:
- RBT Certification: Must hold current RBT certification through the BACB.
- Experience: 1-2 years as an RBT with competency in implementing behavior intervention plans.
- Leadership Experience: Mentorship or leadership experience preferred.
- Education: High school diploma required, degree in ABA or related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, data collection, and time management skills.
- Technology: Familiarity with ABA software (Central Reach, Lumary, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
