Job Description:
The Franchise Support Consultant visits child care centers and assesses key functional areas, and provides feedback, resources for best practice, and support to optimize center operations. The Consultant must have excellent interpersonal skills and possess extensive knowledge in the child care industry and child care business operations, health, and safety.
Franchise Support Consultant Job Duties:
- Create and build a professional relationship with franchisees (center owners) and their management teams
- Perform monthly center visits and evaluate programs using the Quality Assurance Report
- Evaluate centers for compliance with both state licensing agency and Discovery Point quality standards
- Review report with Owner or member of management at the end of each visit
- Send report to owner at the end of each visit
- Provide follow-up, resources and technical support after visit as needed
- Provide technical support or resources as needed during visit
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all state and local regulations and accreditations
- Assist with special projects or events
- Assist in roll out of new DPFI initiatives by delivering materials as needed
- Provide necessary feedback on Operations team initiatives
- 25-50% travel to centers in other states
- Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to franchisees on operational best practices, compliance, and staff development.
- Conduct training sessions or workshops on curriculum implementation, licensing compliance, and staff engagement.

Experience:
- 3 years in a management role in a licensed childcare facility
- Extensive knowledge of childcare best practice including ITERS, ECERS, and SACERS
- Knowledge of local coalition guidelines and state quality initiatives
- Knowledge of childcare curriculum, experience with writing or implementing proprietary curriculum a plus
Education:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA
Job is based out of Discovery Point Franchising Office in Duluth, GA
Travel is required to centers in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee. Overnight travel may be required once a month.
