Job Summary:
As a Stage Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our hard-working and talented Cast Members in a Park Operations department! This could include Attractions, Custodial, Food & Beverage, Disney Photo Imaging, Guest Relations, Main Entrance, Retail or Resort Transportation & Parking. You are a part of the magic by ensuring a safe and efficient operation that drives positive Guest experiences, increases Cast engagement, and safeguards our brand! In this role, you will strive to improve Guest service standards, coach and recognize Cast Member behavior, and lead the business through key business drivers. In this role, you could be supporting Downtown Disney, Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Main Entrance, or Resort Transportation & Parking.
You Will:
- Demonstrate dedication to excellence and working in the operation daily, which includes interacting with Guests and Cast and resolving any issues
- Maintain a positive demeanor, inspire, engage, and develop a diverse and versatile team

- Partner closely and collaborate with other leadership teams due to shared cast base
- Participate in departmental meetings and communicate relevant information to Cast Member
- Make balanced day-to-day operational decisions that benefit Guests, Cast Members, and the demands of the business
- Drive and deliver daily results by monitoring daily staffing levels and anticipating shift coverage needs based on demand
- Support local projects and monitor any potential impacts on the guest and cast experience
You Have:
- High school degree or equivalent
- One years of leadership/managerial experience, demonstrating professionalism and maturity in an hourly or salaried leadership role
- Verbal and written communication skills, including conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Proven track record of leading effectively in a team environment, holding self and others accountable, as well as the ability to deal effectively with conflict through strong partnering and networking skills
- Operational Guest service experience and Guest service skills
- Organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in basic computer functions vital to operating in a Windows environment and adaptable to new technology
- Ability to understand the impact of financial aspects of an operation (i.e., operating budget, revenue, labor, inventory systems, costs, etc.)
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends, variable shifts, and holidays
It would be great if you had:
- Operations experience in Attractions, Custodial, Food & Beverage, Disney Photo Imaging, Guest Relations, Main Entrance, Retail, Resort Transportation & Parking, Hotel Food & Beverage, Hotel Rooms Leader, or similar operational roles (at The Disneyland Resort, other Theme Parks, or outside industry)
- Prior experience leading in a union environment
- Bilingual skills
- Bachelor’s degree

The hiring range for this position in California is $64,480 - $77,550 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
