About the Role
As an Agent Apprentice, youll gain hands-on experience by working alongside a seasoned Farmers Insurance agent. With guidance from industry leaders and resources from the University of Farmers, youll develop the knowledge and skills to seamlessly transition into agency ownership.
What Youll Do
Learn the Business: Partner with an experienced agent to develop expertise in sales, marketing, customer service, and business management.

Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Oversee and lead a team of insurance sales representatives, setting goals and guiding them to achieve sales targets.
Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
Client Relations: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in various insurance products.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate sales team performance, providing feedback and support as needed to meet objectives.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, outlining successes and areas for improvement.
Requirements
Licensing: Must possess a valid insurance license for Minnesota or be willing to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the insurance industry.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team toward achieving sales goals.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Customer Service Orientation: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship-building.
Remote Work Capability: Ability to manage a team and maintain productivity in a hybrid work setting.
