Summary:

The School District of the Borough of Morrisville is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the anticipated position of HR/Payroll Manager.

 

General Scope of Responsibilities:  The Human Resources (“HR”)/Payroll Manager provides comprehensive human resources services to staff. The HR Manager is responsible for providing training and other materials to employees and volunteers to inform them of School District of the Borough of Morrisville (“District”) policies and procedures, and to administrative staff to update them on emerging trends in human and policies related to the terms and conditions of employment; ensuring enforcement of relevant law, rules, and regulations related to the terms and conditions of employment; coordinating recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new employees; processing information regarding terminations, disciplinary actions, leaves, and information required from current and potential employees; coordinating the performance review and evaluation process and maintenance of records regarding same; and serving as a resource regarding initiatives for employees in the workplace. Additionally, the HR Manager is responsible for maintaining payroll records for the District and completing the payroll process as scheduled.

  

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or Human Resources, or a related field, or Juris Doctor.
  2. Human Resources certification (SHRM) is highly beneficial, but not required.
  3. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Human Resource Management.
  4. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Payroll Management.

Salary

Commensurate with experience, per Act 93 Agreement.
