Divergent Technologies, Inc. is a leader in engineering design and manufacturing, specializing in the production of structural components for the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries. We are looking for a strategic and experienced Director of Enterprise Software to lead the development, customization, and integration of our enterprise software systems, including but not limited to PLM, ERP, MES, CRM, MRP, and more. This role will ensure our enterprise software ecosystem supports the company's growth and operational goals while optimizing performance, efficiency, and user experience across business, engineering, and manufacturing functions.
The Director of Enterprise Applications will be instrumental in strategic planning, team management, and successfully delivering enterprise software projects. This role will involve managing cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the software landscape aligns with the company's long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate will also champion software engineering best practices, focusing on version control, infrastructure management, CICD pipelines, and design documentation.
The RoleStrategic Software Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our enterprise software landscape, covering PLM, ERP, MES, CRM, SCM, inventory management, QMS, CAD, CAE, and other key systems.
- Oversee the customization, enhancement, and maintenance of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM and Oracle Fusion Cloud systems, ensuring it meets specific business needs and integrates smoothly with other enterprise systems.
- Lead the evaluation and transition to new software solutions, aligning enterprise software with business growth and digital transformation goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve software processes, workflows, and system integration to enhance efficiency and performance across all enterprise systems.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and manage the ERP and PLM support and development team, including developers, engineers, system administrators, and QA specialists.
- Mentor and guide team members to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, ensuring their professional growth.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, and manufacturing leaders to gather requirements, identify areas for improvement, and prioritize projects across departments.
PLM & Enterprise Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute PLM and enterprise software projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, conducting regular project reviews with senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing proactive support and addressing user issues promptly, maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Software Engineering Best Practices
- Champion software engineering best practices, ensuring robust infrastructure, version control of high-quality code and configurations, CICD pipelines with efficient testing, and comprehensive design documentation.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies, to keep our software ecosystem ahead of industry trends.
Compliance & Process Optimization
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors.
- Drive the integration of enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and optimal system performance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computational science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in enterprise software management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary technical teams, including PLM, ERP, MES, and other enterprise software solutions.
- Expertise in Siemens Teamcenter PLM, including Active Workspace configurations, customization, integration, and system upgrades.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, including its configurations, modules, user role administration, and OIC integration.
- Deep understanding of engineering design and manufacturing processes, and their integration with enterprise software systems.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including infrastructure management, version control, CICD pipelines, and design documentation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C , ITK, PLMXML, and familiarity with database management (SQL) and server management (Linux/Windows).
- Familiar with industry standards and regulations for automotive and aerospace/defense, such as ISO 26262 (Automotive Functional Safety), AS9100 (Aerospace Quality Management), and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement).
- Experience with other PLM technologies such as PTC Windchill, Dassault Systmes ENOVIA, and Autodesk Vault.
- Experience with other ERP technologies such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor CloudSuite, Workday, and oracle NetSuite.
- Familiarity with CAD software and formats commonly used in engineering, such as NX, SolidWorks, CATIA, and STEP.
- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP.
- Familiar with network configurations and familiarity with the integration of software systems with advanced engineering applications.

Salary : $211,530 - $290,895
