Quality Assurance Inspector – 1st shift $17-$23/Hr

Sunlite Plastics, a division of Diversatek, Inc. has an exciting Quality Assurance Inspector opportunity in our Medical Tubing Division in Wisconsin. We are a plastics extrusion company that provides custom tubing to medical markets.
Hourly rate starts at $17-$23 based on experience
2 years of Quality or Manufacturing experience is preferred - full training is provided
We are looking for an energetic Quality Assurance Inspector to join our growing company. The position will perform set-up inspections, in-process inspections, final product release inspections and perform other quality duties as required.
We are looking for candidates who possess good communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills and are dedicated and reliable. Our facility is air-conditioned, clean and well maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and document data on product and components to approved specification after production and for receipt of materials
- Calibrate gauges to approved procedures
- Tag and identify product at any stage of production
- Perform final inspection of finished goods and assemble final release paperwork
- Initiate defective materials reports (NCR) and scrap tickets
- Re-inspect reworked components or product to approved instructions
- Follow all ISO regulations as communicated through the Quality Management System
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to walk, bend, stoop, balance, and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- 1st shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm
