Job Description:
The Plant Controller will overseeing accounting and financial operations for a growing organization! This role involves financial reporting, analysis, and providing actionable insights to support key business decisions, cost reduction, and profitability improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring financial statements comply with US GAAP.
- Deliver plant forecasts and lead annual plant budget development.
- Support inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Manage and coach the plant finance team.
- Partner with Operations to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and approve month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and AR/AP processes.
- Oversee payroll, fixed asset management, costing, and purchase requisition approvals.
- Monitor cash flows and ensure forecast accuracy.
- Manage various ad hoc requests/projects for plant, division, and corporate needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 5 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in a multinational organization.
- Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally.
