Job Summary:
- Maintain, repair, and improve the operational reliability of glass manufacturing equipment.
The Reliability Engineer will lead root cause analysis and drive implementation of corrective actions to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead root cause analysis and drive implementation of corrective actions
- Develop and implement analysis methods for determining equipment reliability
- Monitor PM programs, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions
- Provide leadership and technical support to cultivate a proactive maintenance service department
- Design, develop, and implement equipment changes to correct reliability issues
- Attend daily meetings to drive continuous improvement and compliance to productivity goals
- Develop and implement training programs for maintenance personnel
- Establish reliability and work planning metrics/KPI's to monitor performance
- Reverse engineer legacy components and systems to improve reliability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or relevant technical field preferred
- 3 years of experience in Engineering or similar technical field required
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities
- Experience with AC and DC variable speed drives
- Experience with low voltage and high voltage AC/DC circuits
- Experience with Fanuc robots and robotic cells a plus
- Familiar with PFMEA, RCFA, Pareto analysis, 5Y, %s, SPC, CMS, and standardized work instructions a plus
- Experience with HVAC systems and regulatory compliance a plus
