At Diversified Services Network, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Mossville, IL. This full-time position offers a range of benefits, including PTO, 401(k), and health insurance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics and thermal simulation, with experience in rotating component design and analysis. They will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices.
Key responsibilities include implementing operating procedures, resolving system malfunctions, and providing technical information. The successful candidate will also be responsible for executing analysis of motor thermal test data and comparing it to analytical predictions.
- Research and develop new thermal simulation techniques for rotating components
- Design and analyze rotating components using physics-based models
- Develop and implement automated scripts to improve the velocity of motor thermal analysis
- Work with the internal data analysis tool team to create tools/user groups that have motor-specific user functions such as predicting SS temperature
