DTI is seeking a part-time AP/Accounting Clerk who will participate as a team member within a small accounting department. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to work in a challenging, innovative, fast-paced technical organization based in Bedford, Massachusetts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinates all activities in Accounts Payable function
· Sort incoming statements, invoices and check requests
· Process 3-way match of invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
· Accurately code and record vendor invoices into accounting system
· Identify invoices with potential cash discounts
· Obtain approval of invoices and check requests, as needed
· Prepare Accounts Payable checks for mailing
· Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements
· Maintain the filing system for all Accounts Payable documents
· Meet month-end and year-end closing dates
· Assist with month-end reports
· Assist with other Accounting duties, as needed
· Ensure Company policies and procedures are being strictly followed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Accounting or
Business preferred - Knowledge of Accounts Payable
- Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint a plus
- Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- One plus years’ experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and team oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Compensation
· Commensurate with experience
· Sick Time, PTO accruals begin month one; 401(k) Plan
