Diversified Technologies, Inc. (“DTI”) is an international leader in the design and manufacture of
high-power electrical equipment. Our exceptional engineers and scientists collaborate to develop
the world’s most powerful radar transmitters, pulsed power units for state-of-the-art processing in
food, energy and wastewater, and advanced R&D for national laboratories.
DTI is seeking a Machinist to join its rapidly-growing, high-technology business. This is a great
opportunity for someone eager to work in a challenging, innovative, fast-paced technical
organization based in Bedford, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, bench
grinders, sheet metal shear and break
• Fabricate and rework parts for prototype and production assemblies
• Read drawings, plan efficient steps for cutting and finishing operations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with building test set ups in a lab setting
• Perform routine equipment maintenance
• Assist with assembly of electro-mechanical components
• Read and understand the schematic diagrams, product manuals, and process
documents
• Review bills of material, and perform pre- and post-assembly component inspections
Requirements:
• Ten years as machinist, ideally in a research and development environment
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and job orders
• Demonstrated familiarity with measuring tools, hand tools, power tools and
associated safety requirements
• Able to fabricate parts from sketches and hand drawings. Knowledge of machining
steel, aluminum, G10 fiberglass, plastics, and other materials
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting with attention to detail
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Experience as a mechanic or electromechanical technician desired
