Title: Project Manager Level 1
Location: 100% Remote, candidates local to Client locations (NY & NC preferred); open to US time zones, must be willing to work EST hours
Duration:6 Months
Schedule: M-F 8-5, OT not expected, but may need flexibility based on project need
Interview Process: Two Rounds. First round - video interview with direct manager. Second-round - video interview/panel.
Scope of Position:
The IT Network Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of network-related projects within the organization. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead global network projects from initiation to closure.
Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project deliverables are met.
Constantly monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management clearly and concisely.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Financial report analysis, budgeting, statement analysis
Manage project financials budget, actuals, forecasting.
Manage ordering and billing processes.
Education and Experience:
4-year Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum required)
3 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on IT network projects.
PMI PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
Required Skills
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Understanding of network infrastructure is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong financial acumen
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
