IT Systems Administrator / IT Support Specialist

The IT System Administrator /  IT Support Specialist is responsible for the effective management and operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves maintaining servers, networks, and other computer systems to ensure optimal performance and security. The IT System Administrator / IT Support Specialist also provides technical support, troubleshoots issues, and implements updates, patches and upgrades. A customer-friendly attitude and professionalism are required and expected at all times.

What You Have Already Achieved (Requirements)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with endpoint configurations
• Minimum of 5 years of technical experience
• A customer friendly attitude and professionalism are required and expected at all times
• Experience with system patching, maintenance and upgrades
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Experience with any combination of the following tools preferred: Windows Server 2022, Azure, Domain Controllers, Entra AD, Intune, Ubiquiti, Fortinet

What You Are Great At (Responsibilities)

• Manages the vulnerability & software & Firmware Patch process for out servers, laptops & desktops
• Uphold the Information Technology & Security policies and create visibility for observed violations
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT Helpdesk
• Plan & execute updates, patches and maintain virtual server environments and server applications
• Manage vulnerability Management exposures and create and deploy patches to nodes in a timely manner
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect organizational data
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and support procedures
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
• Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Make recommendations to improve the operations and security of our digital environment and end user experience
• Plan and Conduct upgrades for Finastra as as maintain documentation
• Monitor security alerts and respond to potential security incidents
