What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at DMOS?
Are you a numbers person? Do you enjoy keeping track of finances day in and day out? We are hiring an Accounting Clerk! You will assist with processing daily accounting activities related to cash management and accounts payable processes. In addition to assisting with day to day activities you will have the opportunity to assist with other accounting / payroll duties as needed. This position is a full-time, opportunity at our West Des Moines office (Monday - Friday; 8AM-5PM).

Do I want this job? You will assist with accounts payable processes and cash management. You will accurately collect corporate credit card receipts and appropriately code to specific department. You will process insurance and patient refunds as necessary. You have the ability to learn new skills and take initiative to help support the team. You have effective communication skills to gather information from physicians and staff. You will work in a place that expects outstanding experiences; we do this by working hard to assume the best and being curious with all around us. You will be naturally curious, friendly and helpful. You can work the hours of approximately 8:00AM - 5:00PM Monday through Friday .
Can I do this job? You must be able to be sit at a desk for an extended period of time that may seem unnatural. You have at least a high school diploma or GED. Prior experience with a medical facility completing accounting processes, preferred. You have great typing and computer skills. You can think on your feet with the ability to research and problem-solve as necessary.
What does an outstanding Accounting Clerk look like? Experience with an accounting software to code multiple cost centers, such as Sage Intacct. You have great communication skills via in-person, phone and email. A quick learner that is process driven. You are a team player that can jump in and help out where needed.
