Medical Receptionists/Front Desk Responsibilities :
Receptionist is the first person interacting with patients on a daily basis and is required to maintain a good attitude, free of judgement and ready to be of service exercising healthy boundaries, knowingly representing the facility and our passion for treating the disease of addiction. The receptionist must be clean, healthy, and appropriately dressed (scrubs), and display an approachable presence. The receptionists' responsibilities include making sure all check in procedures are prepared, followed, and met on daily basis; Including but not limited to: opening and closing the front office, checking patients in, answering phones, accessing CSMD, Faxing/ Communicating with other medical offices/pharmacies as needed, updating charts, keeping up with schedule book, and taking payments. All applicants must pass Urine Drug Screen, Background Checks, and provide references. Previous office experience is preferred.
Summary
As a Medical Receptionist/Front Desk professional, you will be essential in delivering outstanding patient service and managing the front office operations. Reporting to the Office Administrator, your core responsibilities include handling medical administrative support, managing medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Additionally, your relevant experience with multi-line phone systems and customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment, making you a vital part of our healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical administrative support and front desk operations
- Proficient in managing medical records and patient services
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle multi-line phone systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office and health information management
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
