Description
The AR Specialist will oversee cash application and perform fixed asset reconciliations as needed. This role requires strong proficiency in computer systems, Excel, and communication, along with a high level of accuracy and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
- Process and apply customer payments accurately, ensuring proper allocation to outstanding invoices.
- Assist with fixed asset tracking and reconciliation as needed, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Prepare, process, and document debit and credit memos in accordance with company policies.
- Develop, test, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for AR functions to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Proactively communicate with customers to resolve past-due accounts, discrepancies, or payment issues in a professional manner.
- Generate reports related to AR activity, payment trends, and outstanding balances to support decision-making.
- Work closely with internal teams, including accounting and sales, to address AR-related concerns and contribute to departmental initiatives.

- One to two years of receivables experience preferred.

- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with the following products and technology:

- Ability to comprehend printed and electronic documents
Education & Certification
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements
- Manual dexterity and sitting for extended periods
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and crouching.
- Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents
