Are you a dynamic individual with a flair for marketing and passion for perfection? Doeren Mayhew is seeking the right person to join its national marketing team in the firm’s Troy, Michigan headquarters as a Marketing Associate. Working closely with marketing leaders, the Marketing Associate will play an important role in supporting the implementation of various firm marketing initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop a working knowledge of the firm’s service offerings, markets, industry experience and key service differentiators to help create content for various deliverables, including presentations, targeted list development, mailings, etc.
• Coordinate and manage all elements of regional internal and external event coordination, including venue selection, registration, continuing education, giveaway procurement, promotional materials and on-site coordination, if warranted.
• Execute sponsorship opportunities aligned with the firm’s marketing goals.
• Draft content for internal and external audiences, such as marketing collateral, thought leadership articles and employee news.
• Support marketing onboarding efforts of new firm team members, including drafting professional bios, scheduling photos and related announcements.
• Aid in the management of the proposal process, including tailoring content for targeted clients, tracking opportunities in the CRM, creating related reporting metrics and performing post-mortem follow up.
• Assist in performing digital campaigns, including performing website updates, e-newsletter creation and quantifying readership metrics.
• Serve as a data steward for firm contacts in the CRM system.
• Complete ad-hoc projects as needed to support strategic firm and geo-specific marketing plans.
  
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field
• 2-3 years of related experience required, preferably in accounting or professional services environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication competencies, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter, ability to operate autonomously.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to set priorities under pressure.
• Requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot and CMS systems is a plus.
• Ability to travel to regional events, when needed.
