Electrical Engineering Technician

Join a leading food company that values innovation, technology, and automation. We are targeting an Electronic Technician to work a day or night shift located near Waconia, MN. We offer a starting wage between $32-$40/hr including relocation assistance with a $4K sign-on bonus! Interested?

What you will be responsible for:

• Utilize a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical issues on production lines
• Test up to 480V and under with a Master Electrician
• Replace, test, and rewire motors and windings for single-phasing
• Troubleshoot PLCs and components, including diagnosing issues when parts are thrown off the circuit.
• Support process improvements and equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Assist with system modifications and upgrades under the guidance of the master electrician

Key Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Internship or hands-on experience with automation, robotics, PLC programming, or troubleshooting.
• Experience with VFDs, PLCs, and basic electrical systems is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
