We are seeking candidates for a Warehouse Supervisor role on the 2nd shift. Compensation for this temp-to-hire hire opportunity is $45,000-52,000 per year plus OT. Interested? What a Warehouse Supervisor will do:
- Supervise the Loading team
- Ensure team is picking, loading, and rotating product correctly
- Coach employees on errors or performance issues, including pick or scanning errors
- Train and develop employees' skills
- Ensure donations are sent out
- Crush cardboard, make boxes, remove labels, clean, etc.
- Monitor product returns
- Evaluate each day's promos, fundraisers, and truck routes that need to be loaded
- When trucks are available, coordinate loading
- Communicate with fleet manager/distribution manager on route or truck changes
- Stock count trucks on a continuous basis
- Fill in for truck pick sheet coordinator when needed
- Complete nightly freezer inventory check
What you need to be a Warehouse Supervisor:
- 2 years of experience in a lead or management role
- 2-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
- Ability to operate and train others on a variety of warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jacks)
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills
