Doherty Staffing Solutions is growing our staffing team in Alexandra, MN . The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the team. Their primary focus will be coordinating recruiting activities for the Senior Staffing Specialist and Service Manager.

The schedule is 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm, Monday - Friday. This position is 100% onsite.

STAFFING COORDINATOR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs all daily office tasks such as answering phones and greeting applicants in a timely and professional manner by successfully multi-tasking.
  • Schedule and confirm interviews for staffing team, clients, and candidates.
  • Pre-screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates for the staffing team.
  • Assist with posting job openings on social media platforms (Facebook, etc.), and other external job boards. Send email and text campaigns to candidates to advertise openings.
  • Complete onboarding paperwork with new hires, including but not limited to Doherty Staffing Solutions paperwork and any client specific onboarding paperwork.
  • Facilitates candidate pre-employment drug tests.
  • Conduct 1 : 1 orientation as needed on-site at a client location.
  • Communicate with candidates regarding start dates, check-in, as directed by the Service Manager or Senior Staffing Specialist.
  • Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Assist the team with incident investigations, as needed.
  • Attends periodic training to maintain skills and develop new ones.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

STAFFING COORDINATOR KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED and two years of administrative or customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
