What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Relations Coordinator position at DOHRN TRANSFER COMPANY?

Duties:

- Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring fair and unbiased outcomes.
- Collaborate with HR Director to develop and update policies and procedures related to employee relations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems such as Oracle, Taleo, UKG, or Kronos.
- Utilize data analysis skills to identify trends or areas of improvement in employee relations processes.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Stay current on employment laws and regulations, including OSHA requirements, to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with external vendors such as Paychex for payroll processing and other HR-related services.

- Perform attendance audits
- Conduct interviews for potential new hires or internal promotions.

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations or HR generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Oracle, Taleo, UKG, or Ceridian.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
