Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of our organization.
Duties
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and maintaining financial records utilizing Quickbooks Desktop.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable for two companies ensure timely invoicing and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations for two companies to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Conduct Weekly Payroll using Quickbooks which includes; Direct Deposit, Tax Deposits for Feds and State, 401K Contributions, Qrtly Tax Returns, W2 and 1099, and all Year End Tax Submissions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for both companies in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with governmental accounting requirements as needed.
- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks and Acculynx for efficient record-keeping.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Creating Cost Analysis for each job, submitting any and all documentation to insurance company for each customer.
- Obtain Customer information for our in house financing.
- Must have outstanding customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quickbooks.
- Experience with bank reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
