This role exists to assist the Team Lead with supervising employees in providing friendly and efficient guest service while focusing on retreat and canopy guests. All to be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and operating philosophies of the Dollywood Company.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.
Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist in the successful and profitable operation of the day to day operation of the Retreats and Canopies.
- Supervise employees to carry out the goals or providing our guest with the highest quality in product with courteous, friendly, and efficient service in an organized, clean, and professional looking environment.
- Schedule team based upon daily retreat and canopy bookings.
- Oversee the training, coaching, and supervising of Hosts including the following activities :
- Hire Host
- Ensure costume guidelines are met
- Properly conduct employee evaluations
- Assist with disciplinary actions as needed.
- Communicate and work with all member of the Foods Management Team along with other divisions.
- Interact with guests and solve their needs while adhering to park policies.
- Ensure correct accounting procedures are being followed in order to correctly collect and balance daily including the following tasks :
- Management of cash funds
- Deposits
- Credit card balancing
- Ensure team compliance with safety and security directives, policies, and procedures including the following areas :
- Health Departments regulations
- Food storage
- Chemical storage
- Develop and maintain a plan to ensure that all retreats and canopies are up to standards such as :
- Maintenance issues are reported
- Cleanliness standards are upheld
