Mission: The Guest Services Support professional provides an exceptional brand experience for consumers through the highest level of product knowledge, hospitality, and customer service. The Guest Services Support professional broadens our reach by nurturing both new and existing clients to further the Evenstad Estates brand. This person works as part of a highly skilled and flexible team that assists in generating sales and elevating guest experiences. This position will welcome all winery guests with enthusiasm and warmth, and ensures guests are promptly escorted to the appropriate designated area.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensures all guests are warmly greeted and escorted to the appropriate location based on the guests’ interests; thanks guests that are departing and ensure that their experience met/exceeded the standards of a luxury environment.
- Interacts with all visitors in a hospitable and professional manner to ensure they feel comfortable and welcomed as our guests.
- Effectively communicates the variety of tasting options and experiences to all visitors.
- Always strives to exceed guest and member expectations.
- Keenly observes appointment schedules and progress, as well as walk-in guests and related necessary clean-up. Always maintains a pristine presentation to the entrance of the Clubhouse.
- Answers the phone in a warm, professional manner and answers questions concerning offered experiences, appointments, walk-in availability, and general winery inquiries.
- Addresses guest concerns in a positive, calm and professional manner and effectively communicates necessary information to the Specialists, Ambassadors and Managers.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of Domaine Serene wines, winemaking techniques, and winery history. Educates guests on the wines and history of Domaine Serene.
- Communicates effectively using open, professional dialogue and solution focused communication.
- Takes orders and coordinates wine pick-up.
- Ensures that restrooms are properly maintained on an hourly basis throughout shift.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Maintains regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. Position may require flexibility in hours and days worked and include some weekends or evenings.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in the hospitality/food and beverage industry a plus. Wine experience a plus. Has a thorough understanding of the luxury hospitality industry and its standards is a plus. Proficient in Tock a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a plus. Detail-oriented work habits and strong organization skills.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations:
Must have OLCC Service Permit.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within office building, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds moving heavy boxes of wine, furniture, and supplies to wine access storage, refrigerated areas, the selling floor and other areas as directed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The work environment for this position has frequent temperature swings as the person in this role moves between the guest space, outdoors, dishwashing area, refrigerators and working next to kitchen equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
