Our long-time client's household in Palm Beach, Florida, is seeking a talented individual with a track record of longevity working in prominent households and excellent references to back it up. You must also have a history of longevity with current/past employers, demonstrating your ability to maintain a long-term relationship with clients. As a Private Chef, you'll need to bring your Michelin-caliber restaurant experience to create high-quality cuisine for principals who love high-quality, diverse food. You'll be responsible for creating menus, sourcing top-notch ingredients, and presenting visually stunning dishes. Maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene is a must.
We're looking for someone who loves to cook a diverse range of cuisines. Your creativity and ability to work within specific dietary requirements and restrictions will be key to succeeding in this role. This position requires frequent travel, including during the holiday season. Qualifications:
- Must be willing to relocate to Palm Beach. (full relocation offered)
- Extensive experience in fine restaurants and private residences.
- Must have demonstrated longevity in past positions – in both prominent households and high-caliber restaurants.
- Culinary school training or equivalent hands-on training at a fine restaurant is required.
- Highly organized, ethical, flexible, and discreet.
- Prompt and dependable. Punctuality is a must.
- Clear communicator who is responsive, forthright, and views themselves as part of a larger team.
- Forward-thinker with the ability to look ahead and anticipate the needs of the principals.
- Positive agent for change and continuous improvement. Able to graciously accept feedback.
- Sound management techniques that demonstrate a commitment towards balancing high quality with cost-efficiency.
- The schedules and needs of the clients are dynamic and may change. It will be necessary for the Chef to be flexible with their availability when looking months out so that we can adequately address the needs of the client.
- Must be flexible to travel frequently and often for extended periods of time.
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or service.
- Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- A valid driver's license, clean driving record, non-drug user, and non-smoker/non-vaper are required.
- Covid-19 vaccination preferred.
- Good written and spoken English knowledge is required, and candidates must be eligible to work legally in the United States.
- Excellent references and a clean background check (due to the sensitive nature of the position, a background check will be conducted prior to the start of employment).
Compensation:
- $225,000, or higher | DOE
- Excellent Benefits Package
