DFS is looking for a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Representative to join our growing team.

- Answer all incoming calls related to loan servicing, addressing borrower questions or directing calls to the appropriate contact within the servicing team.
- Serve as the primary operator within Freshdesk, managing inbound email communications from borrowers and assigning tasks to the appropriate parties.
- Manage, scan, and document all inbound mail related to loan servicing, including notices, insurance renewals, and other critical documents.
- Maintain borrower records by updating contact information within our servicing platform (Salesforce) upon request.
- Coordinate and manage the request and delivery of 1098 forms, payoff statements, Verifications of Mortgage (VOMs), Releases, and other miscellaneous document requests.
- Assist in ensuring that all loan servicing operations are conducted with a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
- Any other related tasks associated within Loan Servicing and customer contact
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
- Exemplary Customer Service: Demonstrated experience in providing outstanding customer service, with a friendly and engaging personality.
- Attention to Detail: A strong commitment to maintaining a high level of data integrity and accuracy in all tasks.
- Knowledge of Mortgage Banking Principles: Familiarity with interest collection, loan documentation, collateral management, and other general mortgage banking practices.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of commercial and/or construction loan servicing, loan documentation, or related job experience in the financial or real estate industry
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: Associate degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial and/or construction loan servicing, loan documentation, or related job experience in the financial or real estate industry.
