We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shipping Lead to join our Logistics team. This position will lead all aspects of shipping finished goods to our customer’s. A strong focus on safety, quality, and meeting deadlines is required.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide training and guidance, to associates focused on packing orders, staging orders, and loading trailers.
• Ensure shipping team performs tasks safely and precisely to ensure accuracy and quality of our products and shipments.
• Organize and prioritize customer orders to properly delegate tasks to associates and ensure complete and on time shipments.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve day to day logistics and streamline workflows.
• Responsible for all full load, LTL, and UPS/FEDEX shipping activities.
• Assist with inventory management as needed, including inventory checks, cycle counts, and inventory research.
• Help maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in the warehouses and laydown yard.
• Perform other duties as required

Your Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in shipping and packaging.
• Must have extensive forklift experience, with flatbed loading experience.
• Previous experience with IFS or similar ERP system preferred.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
• Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with team members.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and react quickly to changing priorities. A sense of urgency is a must.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong organizational skills, time management, and aptitude to multi-task

This position is full time, on a Monday-Friday schedule. Some overtime will be required when deadlines are imminent including but not limited to working Saturday’s. The environment is both indoor and outdoor and will require working in all weather conditions including precipitation, cold/heat, high winds, and turbulent conditions.
