Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering quality classroom instruction, assessing student learning, and demonstrating effectiveness in Student Retention, Student Success, and Student Attendance. They will also conduct engaging classroom lectures, motivate students, advise students on attendance and grades, contact absentee students, manage classroom environment, and ensure instructor preparedness before class.
Requirements
The minimum qualifications for this position include an associate's degree, diploma, or certificate in HVAC/R or engineering from a post-secondary institution accredited by agencies recognized by the U.S. DOE. Prior experience teaching is preferred. The candidate must also possess certifications required for the field taught, such as certification from a recognized certification agency in the field of HVAC.
