At Dorsey College, we strive to provide high-quality education in the field of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). As an Instructor in our HVAC program, you will play a vital role in imparting knowledge and skills to students, ensuring they achieve competency in course objectives.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with delivering quality classroom instruction, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to address all learning modalities. You will assess student learning using appropriate methods and demonstrate effectiveness with strong outcomes in Student Retention, Student Success, and Student Attendance.
In this role, you will also be responsible for conducting engaging classroom lectures and labs, motivating students through sensitivity and active involvement in discussions and activities. Additionally, you will advise students on attendance, grades, and issues to ensure successful completion of their course.
We are seeking an individual who is resourceful and able to problem-solve, with the ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team. A positive attitude, initiative, and creativity are essential, along with proficiency in basic office equipment, computers, and computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
