Job Overview:
As the Director of Sales, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue across all market segments, including corporate, group, and leisure. You will lead a high-performing sales team, cultivate key client relationships, and collaborate with hotel leadership to reposition the property as a top choice in the market post-renovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive room, catering, and event sales.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, setting performance goals and providing guidance.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and event planners.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to enhance hotel revenue.
- Negotiate contracts, and manage key accounts.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and maximize occupancy.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to hotel leadership.
- Ensure alignment with Hilton brand standards and sales initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 years of hotel sales leadership experience, preferably in a full-service hotel.
- Strong knowledge of Hilton sales systems, STR reports, and revenue management principles.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and securing key accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Experience managing and motivating a sales team to drive performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
