We seek a dynamic Agile Coach to lead our transformation and serve as the cornerstone of our agile operations. The Agile Coach will play a critical role in fostering a culture of agility within DMI. As the process owner for the organization’s agile operations, this individual will oversee and evolve our agile frameworks, manage all Scrum Masters, and ensure the successful implementation of agile principles and practices across teams and departments.

The Agile Coach will drive continuous improvement and create alignment with organizational goals, enabling DMI to deliver value efficiently and effectively while enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Serve as the organization’s Agile thought leader and advocate.
  • Define and maintain a vision for Agile operations that align with company objectives.
  • Develop and implement an Agile transformation strategy, including training and mentoring programs for employees at all levels.
  • Own and optimize all agile processes and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.
  • Establish and continuously refine metrics and KPIs to measure agile maturity, team performance, and organizational effectiveness and promote consistency in agile practices across teams.
  • Manage and provide professional development for all Scrum Masters across the organization. Act as a mentor and coach to Scrum Masters and agile teams, ensuring adherence to agile principles while fostering adaptability.
  • Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to encourage innovation, problem-solving, and alignment.
  • Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to effectively execute their roles in Agile frameworks.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and address organizational impediments to agility.
  • Lead the cultural and mindset shift required for successful Agile adoption, identify resistance to Agile practices, and develop strategies to address it.
  • Promote transparency, communication, and alignment between business and technology teams
  • Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach with a strong track record of driving successful Agile transformations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum (Scrum Master certification required; Advanced or SAFe certifications preferred).
  • Strong people management skills, with experience managing Scrum Masters or similar roles.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver training to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with agile metrics and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Preferred / Other Qualifications

  • Experience working in the mortgage or financial services industries
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira
  • Experience building highly complex software and automation/AI products
  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing software and platforms

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The employee must be comfortable in either an on-site office setting, or a quiet, designated work from home space that is free from distractions and noise. The employee is regularly required to communicate (give/receive) information through multiple methods of communication with clear understanding from others. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position and or move about the organization or remote office. The employee is frequently required to stand or walk (or otherwise move through the organization); sit; use hands to type, write, handle, or feel and reach. May occasionally climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; or lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Employees may be required to type and utilize a computer for long periods of time.

The employee may be required to frequently operate a standard variety of office equipment including computers, calculators, copy machine, computer printer and phones. The noise level, if working on-site, is usually moderate and typical of an office environment.
