WHAT YOU'LL DO
The CI Coordinator is highly competent as a process manager and uses a variety of skills such as project design, leadership, and management to ensure performance and process development. In this role, you will use Lean Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. You will be involved in planning, scheduling, and implementing continuous improvement activities (such as Kaizen) on the production floor of a manufacturing facility. Specific responsibilities include :
- Champion operational excellence model under the guidance of OpEx Director and Global Continuous Improvement Manager.
- Problem-solve by facilitating analysis of the focus situation that accurately describes the issues and provide detailed map of desired situation with the utilization of DOVER Problem-Solving framework.
- Prepare, assist and provide training to employees on continuous improvement efforts, problem solving and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Provide support to the production staff to ensure that implemented lean principles are understood.
- Track and monitor progress of the productivity projects against strategy deployment targets (Savings target vs Cost of Goods Sold).
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to enhance productivity.
- Champion 5S program, providing training, coaching, mentoring and leading Kaizen events.
- Collaborate with multiple functional departments such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Production, and Safety to continuously improve processes.
- Champion of Site Kaizen Roadmap, from the strategy linkage to the execution, by providing training, mentoring and coaching to Kaizen leaders and team members.
