Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an IT Helpdesk Technician. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about starting or furthering their career in the IT field. While previous experience is optional, having hands-on experience in IT support is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Resolve technical problems by identifying and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of:
- Clients and Servers
- Surveillance cameras
- Cloud and locally administered Access Control Systems
- Brand specific Video Recorders
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth installation, operation, and functionality of network enabled devices on customer premises, as well as our internal systems.
- Document and update support tickets, keeping accurate records of all interactions and solutions provided.
- Conduct training sessions to educate users on basic software and hardware functionality.
Requirements:
- Passion for technology and a desire to pursue a career in IT.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- Competency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Previous experience in IT support is preferred, but not required.
- CompTIA certifications (such as A , Network , or Security ) are preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or relevant education is a plus.
- Strong Desire to learn and grow.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in an environment which may involve working in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Walking, crawling, climbing, bending, kneeling, handling (use of hands and fingers
