- Evaluate raw materials, work in process and finished products for quality and safety
- Perform seam audits
- Check product weights
- verify dates
- Check metal detectors
- Verify CCPs for HACCP plan
- Monitor GMPs
- Collect samples for analysis
- Perform bone audits
- Inspect raw poultry
- Calibrate thermometers
- Monitor Retort operation
- Ensure compliance to food safety requirements
- Comply with all USDA regulations
- Assist with continuous improvement tests
- Ensure compliance with written product specs
