Job Overview:
The Beverage Service Manager plays a vital role in the success of the Downstream Casino Resort by ensuring the highest level of beverage service to our guests. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of beverage services on assigned shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of beverage services on assigned shifts.
- Oversee the successful operation of VIP Rooms and Pool Bar on assigned shifts.
- Maintain the quality of beverage products served to meet established specifications and standards.
- Coordinate drink orders with beverage servers and ensure timely presentation to guests or servers.
- Operate and maintain all equipment and utensils according to established guidelines and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines when scheduled as a bartender.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register/POS System.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and take necessary action according to guidelines.
- Manage labor levels to achieve optimal service performance.
- Prepare and submit daily financial reports when scheduled.
- Conduct audits and implement improvements to beverage inventory and cost control systems and procedures.
- Audit and address guest complaints promptly.
- Supervise the handling and maintenance of service equipment.
- Develop and deliver service education programs to reinforce key duties and responsibilities.
- Enforce appearance and uniform guidelines, regulatory requirements, internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Support the team by performing tasks associated with Food and Kitchen Supervisor roles as necessary.
