Dox Electronics Inc . is looking to add a Local Area Network Engineer to our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Level I and Level II support to employees that work from the office as well as from home or other remote locations. In this position you will work with a variety of clients in all different industries. Every day brings new challenges!
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following :
- Keep systems up-to-date through operating systems upgrades.
- Monitor equipment uptime.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and ongoing support of new software and features.
- Oversee troubleshooting for system errors.
- Provide help desk support for day to day issues.
- Provide support either by phone, remote access or site visits as needed.
- Respond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
- Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and software.
- Modify configurations, utilities, software, etc.
- Set up equipment for new users..
- Perform data backups.
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned
