Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Process Construction Engineer who will be collaborating with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop detailed project plans.
Role accountabilities:
Align engineering internal specifications with industry standard specifications and manage the specifications used for construction
Coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify quality of material and workmanship and address any issues that arise.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, ensuring the correct implementation of engineering designs.
Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and schedules.
Monitor project costs and timelines, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
Implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of construction.
Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Prepare and present progress reports and updates to project management and stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in construction engineering, preferably 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of engineering standards, construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent organizational skills, teamwork abilities and willingness to take on responsibilities beyond the traditional engineering role.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Process Construction Engineer
Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
