Position Overview:
As a Scheduling Coordinator at Dr. Sarah Orthodontics, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care while contributing to the upbeat and inclusive atmosphere that defines our practice. Your responsibilities will extend beyond the administrative realm, allowing you to participate in a variety of projects and events that nurture our strong community spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining appearance and order of the dental office, patient scheduling and patient management
- Open and close the practice according to office protocols
- Check the daily schedule for accuracy
- Answer and respond to telephone / emails / texts with professionalism
- Review supplies for reception and provide supplies order list
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice
- Check in all patients according to office protocol, verifying and updating health information
- Provide and document HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices
- Confirm upcoming appointments
- Schedule patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time
- Collect payment from patients at time of treatment
- Schedule follow-up appointments as directed
- Completion of corresponding letters
- Gather and accurately record dental, medical and insurance information from patients
- Securely store and handle records in compliance with legal requirements
- Manage and update patient information
- Arrange patient information for the next day appointments
Qualifications:
- A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
- Availability to work Monday through Friday
- Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to a fun and welcoming atmosphere
- Preferably some orthodontic experience, but we're willing to train the right candidate

Experience:
- Orthodontic Administrator Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
