Childcare Provider

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers, and supporting their developmental needs through play, education, and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for infants and preschool-aged children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children.
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, diaper changing, and nap times.
• Educate children on basic concepts such as numbers, colors, and shapes through fun activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare space that is conducive to learning and play.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Stay informed about childhood development principles to support each child's growth effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny is preferred.
• Knowledge of infant care practices and early childhood development is essential.
• Familiarity with first aid procedures is a plus; certification is encouraged.
• Experience in behavior management techniques will be beneficial in creating a harmonious environment.
• A background in caregiving or education will enhance your ability to support children's learning experiences.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
