Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The Childcare Provider will work closely with parents and other staff members to support the growth and learning of each child.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Provide care for children including feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages learning through play and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare environment.
- Observe children's behavior and development, documenting progress as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive childcare experience.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles.
- Experience in childcare settings such as daycare or preschool environments.
- Familiarity with early childhood education practices.
- Ability to provide first aid when necessary.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Proficient in toddler care techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
