Job Summary : The Compliance and Safety Administrator is responsible for providing transportation expertise and support to the entire organization. The role is ultimately responsible for ensuring that TDP operates in strict compliance with all transportation and safety regulations and laws, all employees received adequate and ongoing support and education regarding compliance, and that all documentation is in alignment with both organizational and external regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be organized, experienced at all aspects of transportation regulations specifically in the passenger area, with the ability to lead, coach and guide in the areas of expertise, with influence and education. The successful incumbent will be an excellent resource and teammate, and perform at a high level of effectiveness with a diverse group of constituents on a consistent basis.
Maintain vehicle and chauffeur DOT compliance files through electronic tools
Daily oversight of chauffeur HOS to keep chauffeurs within DOT regulations
Safety training and vehicle specific training for all chauffeur staff as well as general safety training for the organization
Maintain chauffeur compliance with Internal brand standards
Work closely with other HR, Recruiting and Training teammates to maintain high caliber chauffeur staff
Other operational responsibilities within the scope of compliance and quality control as assigned
Passenger transportation experience preferred.
Significant focus on attention to detail, organization, and clear communication.
Well versed in Windows based applications to include Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Able to quickly absorb and work in industry specific applications and company specific programs

Ideal Talents and Experience :
Passenger, fleet, or trucking transportation industry DOT knowledge
Commercial Drivers License with Passenger Endorsement
Eligibility Requirements :
Work in Phoenix, Arizona with travel to remote locations as needed
High school diploma or greater
Undergo a pre-employment background investigation
Legal authorization to work in the United States
23 years or older for company vehicle insurance requirements

Physical Working Conditions :
Position would spend time in an office setting and field work in outdoor or garage locations, as well as inside various passenger vehicles. Office work may require prolonged sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting and stooping in the performance of daily activities. Field work would require the ability to work outside in various weather conditions and actively enter or travel around in a vehicle. The position may also require the ability to lift, drag and push files, paper and documents weighing up to 35 pounds.
Special Requirements : (1) Must be willing and able to travel to and attend training and meetings within or outside the boundaries of the home area; (2) Must be willing and able to work outside regular business hours and on occasional weekends, attending meetings, etc. as needed; (3) Prefer a valid CDL, must have a valid drivers license.
