- Assist attorneys in all pre-litigation phases of personal injury cases, including case management, document retrieval and client communication.
- Occasionally assist with conducting initial client interviews to gather information and assist with client intake procedures.
- Organize and maintain case files, including medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, insurance adjusters, and government entities, both orally and in writing.
- Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and maintaining attorney-client communication.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law and civil litigation procedures.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fluency in either Spanish or Korean.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to review and summarize medical records.
