Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Captain/Server to join our banquet service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in fine dining and banquet settings. As a Banquet Captain/Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that all events run smoothly, providing exceptional customer service, and managing the team when applicable to deliver a memorable experience for our guests.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of banquet service, from setup to execution and breakdown.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and presentation.
- Manage inventory control, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and organized.
- Lead and train banquet staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the event.
- Collaborate with event planners to customize services according to client specifications.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of banquet operations, including food production and service standards.
- Experience with budgeting, inventory control, and team management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
