Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Team Leader to oversee Breakfast and Banquet Services, ensuring smooth operations, high service standards, and a positive guest experience. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized individual with a passion for hospitality, able to supervise a team and be available to work all weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the Breakfast and Banquet teams to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Lead the team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hospitality, and presentation.
- Ensure breakfast service is delivered on time and to the expected standard.
- Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring guest satisfaction at all stages.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure that food and beverage offerings are executed properly.
- Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Monitor the performance of team members, offering support and guidance where needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform inventory checks for breakfast and banquet supplies.
- Ensure all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Must work with Executive Chef to do weekly employee schedules.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Micros is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
- High attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Must be available to work all weekends (both breakfast and banquet services).
- Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local alcohol serving practices and standards
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year in similar role required
- Food safety certification preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Direct report to Executive Chef
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
