DSST Public Schools seeks a visionary and strategic Head of Growth to lead our network's ambitious expansion efforts. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this role will be instrumental in achieving our goals.
The Head of Growth will serve as a key member of DSST Public Schools, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive, long term growth strategies that align with DSST's senior leadership and our mission of educational excellence and equity. This role combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, relationship-building with community members, and data-driven decision-making to expand our network's impact in Colorado.

**Strategic Growth Planning (40%)**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term growth strategy aligned with DSST's mission and vision
- Lead market analysis and feasibility studies for new school development opportunities
- Create and maintain strategic partnerships to support network expansion
- Collaborate with CEO, External , and Board of Directors to set and achieve growth targets
- Identify key organizational opportunities to support growth plans
- Systems Leadership (30%)**
- Oversee market research and analysis of demographic trends, education policy changes, and competitive landscapes
- Develop and maintain metrics to track growth initiatives and strategic objectives
- Partner with our internal team to create financial models and projections to ensure sustainable growth in partnership
- Collaborate with the development team to support grant reporting and strategize new funding opportunities.
- Lead data-driven decision-making processes for expansion opportunities
- Lead charter school application process with partner districts
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and education advocates as it relates to our growth strategy
- Foster partnerships with funders, policymakers, and community stakeholders as it relates to our growth strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams including School Directors, Senior Leadership Team, and Home Office teammates
- Model our Core Values, Commitment to the Human Condition, and our commitment to equity as a Leader within the Network
- Play an active leadership role in building and sustaining Home Office culture
- Engage with our school communities to actively build relationships between our schools and the home office
- Participate in & support the execution of Home Office & Network-wide events
- Manage growth-related budgets and resources
- Other strategic initiatives as assigned by Chief of Staff and CEO
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 10-12 years of experience in strategic growth, marketing, or operations
- 6 years of demonstrated success working across multiple teams/stakeholders (both internal and external)
- 6 In depth understanding of school needs in urban charter/public school contexts
- 6 Proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-site growth initiatives
- 4 Experience with market research, analysis, and data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) in Business, Education, or related field
- Experience in education sector, particularly with charter schools (in Denver, Colorado a plus)
- Demonstrated success in enrollment growth or expansion efforts
- Track record of building successful community partnerships
- Experience working with executive leadership teams and boards
- Visionary leadership with proven strategic planning abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellence in cross-functional team leadership
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships
- Commitment to educational equity and DSST's mission
