Destination Tomorrow is Non-profit LGBTQ Organization in Dupont Circle needs someone who is outgoing, sharp and willing to jump in and help out wherever needed.
75% Community Outreach
Responsibilities
- Connect with community organizations, leaders, and programs.
- Participate in public education campaigns and promote the organization's resources.
- Attend community events and meetings and distribute promotional materials.
- Track progress and timelines and periodically assess practices and outcomes.
- Work and communicate with current staff.
25% Light Groundskeeping and Cleaning:
Responsibilities
- Inspect property grounds, sweep, pick up trash in the common area daily to maintain safety and cleanliness standards and identify issues requiring maintenance, repair or replacement.
- Assist with property emergencies, such as shoveling snow, salting the sidewalks and picking up limbs if there's a storm, fire, or flood.
- Organize, prioritize and ensure service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
Must be accessible for communication by phone and email to respond in cases of emergency.

Key Qualifications, Skills and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred
