What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at DTE Repair & Towing?
We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling incoming calls and emails. They will also be responsible for organizing office documents, managing office supplies, and performing other administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks such as but not limited to, payroll, invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, budget tracking, maintaining financial documents such as but not limited to, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, budget procedures/plans, etc.
- Coordinate and oversee administrative staff and delegate tasks to improve performance within the companies.
- Maintain and update records on company policies, procedures, and projects to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Create, update, and maintain databases and records regarding company information such as but not limited to, financial information, personnel information, payroll, supply requisitions, vendor files, company policies, accounting documents, production, etc.
- Carrying out clerical duties such as but not limited to answering/managing phone calls, responding to emails, letters, and packages, as well as preparing documents, including office correspondence, memos, resumes, and presentations, purchasing office supplies and equipment, etc.
- Acting as a liaison between management and other departments within the company, such as human resources, marketing, or finance, etc.
- Oversee the maintenance of office facilities and equipment.
- Ensure that all relevant company procedures and policies are being upheld.
- Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends.
- Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing, and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
- Maintain and stay up to date with Microsoft Office and office management software.
- Maintain and utilize communication skills, organizational and leadership skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
